You love them, we love them. Our one and only Milk Choc Chunk Cookies. It’s always the right time to add a little sweetness into your life, so keep reading for a crackin’ cookie recipe.

100g butter, softened

100g caster sugar

1 tbsp golden syrup

150g self raising flour

200g golden caster sugar

100-200g milk choc chips

Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.

Step 2 Beat the butter and sugar together until nice and creamy.

Step 3 Add the golden syrup to the butter and sugar and keep mixing.

Step 4 Mix in half the flour, then add the choc chips and mix.

Step 5 Add in the remaining flour and work the dough together with your fingers.

Step 6 Divide into 14 balls and place them nicely apart on a baking sheet. Top tip: Do no flatten the balls! They’ll naturally spread as they cook and you’ll get a nicer, more even shape!

Step 7 Bake for 12 mins or until golden at the edges. Remember they’ll harden up more as they cool, so don’t fret if they’re still soft.

Step 8 Let them cool and enjoy!
